Aphrodite Hills Resort is located on a beautiful gently-sloping south facing plateau, with commanding views of one of the finest natural sheltered beaches on the island, beyond the sparkling waters of the Mediterranean. The resort overlooks the very birthplace where the legendary goddess of love Aphrodite rose from the clear azure waters of the Mediterranean, it's the perfect place to enjoy the warm 340 days of sunshine every year.
The Aphrodite Hills Resort extends 234 hectares over two olive and carob covered elevated platuex on either side of the Randidi Gorge, a natural ravine and public nature reserve; Secluded, tranquil and surrounded by the Randi Forest which is protected by the Cyprus Government's Department of Forestry, on which development is prohibited. Preserving the natural environment remains a key consideration to the development of the resort. There are a number of nature trails for both cyclists and hikers, it's a place to escape the pressures of the world.
The use of motor vehicles within the resort will be kept to a minimum, as transportation by electric carts similar to golf buggies will be provided between the village center, golf course and 5-star Intercontinental hotel.
The focal point of Aphrodite Hills Resort is the village square, with shops, bars; Complementing the resorts facilities is the St. Catherine's chapel and an amplitheatre - providing a beautiful, romantic setting for weddings etc. Furthermore, the local historical and archaeological sites in the surrounding area as well as the bustling entertainment and commercial center of Limassol are easily accessible, with access to the coastal highways that connect the resort to the towns of Paphos to the northwest and Limassol to the east.
